This was not only as it was from his family that I inherited an unusual surname but also because he himself had a great interest in both the name and his family’s history. Indeed the first item on the wall upon entering the living room of his bungalow was a classic family tree. It was this information and his associated notes that formed the base of my initial research but in addition to bare dates and names he typed and annotated this brief but fascinating memoir.

I have only pages numbered 3 to 9 so if anyone else has a full copy I would be eternally grateful to recieve the first two others. I will present each of these pages verbatim as separate blog entries edited only if publication of details information would go against his wishes. In doing this I hope that the passion Leo had for his family, his heritage and their personal growth is passed on to others just as I know he would have desired. Below is summarized the contents of each page.
